EVEN THE CHRISTMAS DECOR WANT IT TO BE OVER!

It's been a long and drawn out Christmas season........remember, if you will.....the merchants started decorating the isles way before Halloween was even over with! Bloomberg.com reported that U.S. retailers’ sales declined last week, the most in almost six years as, steeper markdowns before and after Christmas failed to salvage what may be the worst holiday shopping season in four decades. In the report, it states that some retailer's had to slash prices as high as 70% to try and regain what was left. But you know.....this kind of makes me think back to the pre-Halloween display of Christmas "thrown upon us" and as I've heard time and time again; "Thanksgiving is getting lost in the mix of the holidays!" And it's true......I've always been one of those shoppers that tries and get the majority of my shopping done pre-Thanksgiving or at LEAST by December 1st. It's just been a little challenge of mine that I've had embedded in my brain ever since I've had to go out into the gambit of the monotony of the shopping craze.......and for the record-I'M NOT A SHOPPER! HATE IT WITH A PASSION! If I have to buy something or need something....I go in and get it.....if I can't find it.......I don't need it........improvise! I've walked in to a building supply house before and lit up a whole NEW house in a matter of 30 minutes by just having a list. First decisions are the best decisions, in my book and why shop, shop, shop until you drop?! Ain't got it in me and I ain't got the time for it.....got better things to do with my time! But back to the economic downfall of the retailers---so with everything being displayed early at full price, it kind of hacks me off that me, the introverted shopper that hates crowds, has to pay full price for the crap, that now, I can get at the same price at 70% off! But, such as life.......and with that, I've posted the only picture that I thought suitable for this whole situation! You can come to your own determination on how you would pen it........but me, I'm thinking.........screw em' all! Peace Out!

Tom Waits: SILENT NIGHT.....CHRISTMAS CARD FOR ALL......

After all these years........I just had about forgotten about ol' Tom. TO SUZY: A LITTLE JIMMY BUFFET FOR YA!

I was serenaded the other night by a couple of people and it was quite amazing......I've really never been a big "BUFFET" fan; yet......he's growing on me! But when, in my drunken stupor, I heard this one (and I was being, as I said, serenaded by my friend Suzy), it was quite remarkable! I had no idea that Jimmy had this type of talent in him.....I'm used to his usual Tequila thrillers and sandy beach hymns.....but the "Pencil Thin Mustache", I liked! Suzy got her groove on and was belting it to the hills and I was quite intrigued with the show! Needless to say, our men in tow were not as impressed with our belligerent crazed actions; but we were feeling the "BUFFINATOR"!!!! And for the regulars Buffet Lovers, I'll put up the Classic "Come Monday" with Jimmy explaining this video himself! I'm gonna get me some Bailey's and Java now and sit back and do a little Bama Breeze Dream'n! Peace Out!!!!!

BUSH: FLYING THREW THE AIR LIKE A SHOE......

I was amazed at how his reflexes were so fast! I never knew he was that agile! But then again, he has the been 'shuck'n and jive'n' for eight long years and I guess he has the move down to a science. And as Bush mentioned, he wasn't 'insulted' by the throw; it was a sign of the Iraqi's 'GROWING FREEDOM'.....he wasn't insulted....as he shouldn't be.......I'm amazed that a U.S. citizen at 'one of those political rallies' that he mentioned, hasn't thrown a couple of size 10s or 12s at him all ready thru out the years......

You talk about a "NO BRAINER!!!!".....Carol Marin of the Chicago Sun Times reports on Will Blagojevich's of his 'hanger on' problems and why he won't give up? Well, my take on this guy is the fact that he's a freak'n, bloom'n idiot! And who in the heck put this guy in a legislative capacity and if he did pull the wool over everyone's eyes in the beginning (which is evident that HE DID!), then why in the heck is he still in there??? I don't get it.......Jim Guy Tucker didn't get off this easy.......Poor Billy Clinton couldn't even have a little 'cigar fun' and 'Devil in Blue Dress' fun without get'n raked over the coals; but this guy makes Jim and Billy look like SAINTS! Here's what I think.......I think he's got a little black book........I think he's taken names and he's gonna blackmail someone if that 'SOMEONE' doesn't bail his ass out soon and he IS meaning really SOON!!! I really think that's what he is bank'n on.......this guy is straight out of one of those old Mafia, Crime movies where he's holding the bag and he's waiting on the big man's phone call to bail him out........But what's really sad here is that the ol' Blagojevich, Wise Guy, has been basically hung out to dry by all the BIG DOG cronies and he's not smart enough to figure it out! The Brotherhood HAS TURNED THEIR BACKS ON YA MAN!!!! YOUR DEAD TO THEM........that's just my take......then again, I could be watch'n too much Showtime because ya'll all know that's my fav channel! Especially with a little java and Bailey's and a big ol' cigar............

O.K. You now how bad I am about diss'n the male species when it comes to how they act towards the female persuasion.......get'n away with all kinds of antics and such......get'n to be the play'a and get'n to do basically whatever they want during the day and then go home to that "good little woman" at home. And all you nay sayers out there that say this crap don't fly anymore and it's all "EQUAL" and 50/50 "at my house" crap......well, I don't buy it.....because, when it all comes down to it, there are still things that the man can get away with that the lady can't......and if she does act like the man, then she's called a 'skank', 'whore', or just a plain down right 'slut'.........you've got to admit that the 'male whore' is rampid in today's world, and the young kittens of today are frankly scaring me because they, too want to be the equivalent of this, only in the female form. Maybe I'm double standardising myself saying this because as I first started this post I was all big and bad about Beyonce putt'n it out there about the "man whore".....but now that I've been think'n about it, we've got little kittens out there that want to be little sluts that want to do every guy possible and talk about it to their peers. So I'm going to get off of this rant because I'm getting in way to deep here; I just enjoyed this video because it really had alot to say about how men treat women sometimes......just sometimes......wouldn't it be nice if we could play the cop part like Beyonce!!!! POWER DONUT???? GQ SENDS A MESSAGE AND SALLY HAS A REBUTTAL!

I get up.......smack some makeup on.....fluff the do.......and settle in with my java! That's the most important thing to me in the morning is my coffee! Can't live with out it (it'll probably be the death of me); anyway, I'm sip'n on my Maxwell house and scroll'n thru the current events and low and behold something catches my eye. On the MSN Lifestyle in the Well Groomed Male there's a topic that's very luring to me: BRING BACK THE POWER DONUT! It talks about how balding men, in general, have decided to take matters into their own hands and have basically destroyed the work of art that GQ is calling the POWER DONUT; essentially, having the chrome dome on top and the drapes around the sides.......Gerald Ford, Larry David, Al Roker and Ron Howard,
the Grand Marshall of them all, made GQ's Hall of Fame for the Power Donuts! I, for one, could really care less who has what on their heads. In fact, I have to agree with GQ that these men look great and I've never even given it a thought (until now). But if they're gonna bring it up for discussion, let's discuss: The only thing I have to say about it is that it depends on the individuals head shape......with that, I mean, if he's got a freak'n egg head, I really don't want a "skullet", if you will, hanging all over this head (and that would just be my opinion if it were my husband or significant other)! I just wouldn't want the poor guy going out in public look'n like a jerk. Now; lets talk about how GQ is taking away from the baldness of American Men........there's power in the BALD GUY!!! We see it every day.......why can't we have it both ways.......let's not discriminate and lash out at those that DO decide to grab the BIC and take matters into their own hands and just say screw it! "I'm gonna shave it all off today!".....I admire these guys; in fact, I wish I could do it! A lot less maintenance and by damn, it looks quite debonair if you ask me!!

Anne Pressley: Hypothetically posting........

After watching 20/20 on ABC Friday Night, Patti Cannady's adamant, resounding words that this was not a random burglary haunts me. Watching the news segment, I listened with intense focus to hear, if any, details that might suggest that it were more than just a random burglary. Within the segment, it recounted this attackers prior victims' story, Kristen Edwards' story of how she too, was attacked in her own home; however, she was.....if you will.......Lucky?.......I hate to even say that word when a crime such is rape is used in the same sentence; however, she was lucky enough to live through her attack and rape. The words from Ms. Edwards were gripping and any woman's worst nightmare when living alone and to have to go through such horror as to what she went through. But thankfully, she is still with her friends and family and she has a long road of recovery ahead of her..........and peace be with her through out this...........but there are still questions for Ms. Pressley's family. Why did her attack from the same suspect go so terribly wrong if, and if, it WAS a random burglary?

I think back to an instance 20 years ago when the same thing happened to a friend of a friend; not only was the circumstances similar, but the way the attack went down; the way her beauty was so brutally taken from her face (beaten beyond recognition), and the brutality of the assault was instrumented; and with the instance of the friend, it was probably a case of a hate crime (and with that, I mean a hate crime upon her as an individual and not by race; the fact that she was hated by her attacker personally seemed obvious because the one thing that was so horribly mutilated on her was her beauty). Like a jealous rage..........

Ms. Pressley's attacker attacked before; he didn't brutally beat Ms. Edwards in the magnitude he did Ms. Pressley.......did he have scratch marks on him? Anne used her fingernails, they say, and that's where they found his DNA; yet nothing was said in the 20/20 interview about there being marks on her attacker's body........he made the statement "I was there but I didn't do this" is chilling......was he there? Was he there as someones "BEARD", if you will; to plant someone else's DNA so the real killer won't be accountable? Does this "prime suspect" have learning disabilities and or is he mentally challenged? I have to ask because he acts like he's not all there and something just isn't adding up with this........sounds to me like someones being set up. But then, that's just a hypothesis because I'm no freak'n CI!

However, I do know this..........it's taken 20 years and still counting to NAIL the person or persons that did this to our dear friend. The CI's have always thought it was a jealous killing upon our dear friend. When someone comes in and beats a beautiful girls face beyond recognition and takes away her life, you have to question why? And it seems more and more obvious to me, it's because someone didn't like her very much and frankly, was probably VERY jealous of her life on Earth. But, you know, there's always that old saying and I have to keep believing, what goes around comes around! And whoever did this to all of these daughters; Anne, Patricia and even Kristen, one day......one day..........the truth shall come out! And when it does, heaven help those that have done these gruesome acts (because they're gonna need it!).

Anne Pressley: What would YOU do if you were Guy Cannady???

In an interview with Matt Lauer yesterday, the Cannady's told Lauer that their daughter, Anne Pressley, slain anchorwoman for Little Rock's KATV's "Daybreak", was sexually assaulted during the break in on October 20th. Anne eventually succumbed to her injuries on October 25th without regaining consciousness. They also revealed in their interview with Lauer that Pressley's jaw bone was beaten so bad that a part of the jaw bone was broken away and also, she had sustained a broken hand during her brutal attack; evidently fighting for her life. She fought the fight......she wasn't suppose to go this way; and yet, for some reason beyond any one's control, she had to leave this earth with her last conscious thoughts of brutality, rape and fear in her beautiful mind. And this is wrong.......because, for one, I did not know Anne personally; yet I did in my mind because I've known people like her that have had to die just as she did..........but yet, their lives, minds and every day life were so much the OPPOSITE of how they expired from the living.......words come to mind like spontaneous, vigorous, innocence, lively, playful, laughing, smiling, intriguing, uplifting, BEAUTIFUL..........I could go on and on...........Put yourself now in the parents place. What would you do??? Would you put it away---the hate, the hurt, the pain in your stomach that can't go away; the want to take matters into your own hands and justify the action with an action????? What would you do if this were your daughter? Look at his face........there's nothing there.......I saw Patti's face (her mom) in the interview and I've heard those exact words so many times...........over and over.........."this person took our daughter.....". And they did............"this person took her innocence........"and they did..........But they will never........NEVER take what was personal; what you and she only knew between you two; the "Parent to Daughter" commodities........can't take away the school plays......can't take away the first date..........can't take away the school proms that you probably spent countless hours getting ready for and what fun that was.........can't take away teaching her to drive.....ride a bike......the first loose tooth.......Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy talks............learning to walk......changing her diaper.................Nope; they didn't take that and they won't EVER be able to get one grubby, little, nasty finger on those things that are precious to a parent because they are locked in the vault for good and NO ONE can ever unlock those treasures or ever take them from you as parents. DENNY CRANE: MAD COW MAY BE THE WAY OUT!

Somebody HELP ME!!!! WHAT TO DO!!! I'm starting to get a litttle FREAK'D OUT!!! What am I going to do without my "Boston Legal" after next week???? It's the only thing that takes me away from the daily bullshit that I so have to deal with in the world of politics and men.....I lay in bed and laugh hysterically at these characters and wish to my sick little self that I really, really was in that office of "Crane Pool and Schmidt"....The Firm! I'd luv it!!!! I know it's not like that in the real world, but it's fun to dream and dream I do!!!! That's what I should have been, a lawyer.....more of an Erin Brockovich type, actually.....but with the degree to boot! That's what I am in my mind and, I guess, it's just another one of my sick little alter egos! But with a major, major underwire, push-up bra and some long-ass legs that just cut it up to here! You know- the kind that get Denny and Alan going like no other........I wept last night....wept for Denny.......when Alan got his case to the Supreme Court I was so excited (see how sick I am????)! This is some crazy stuff and I'm on the crazy train to Mad Cow town! But I have to bask in the last few moments with these guys because if I had Mad Cow and I had one last wish before I signed off to the real world of reality, I would wish that I could walk down the halls of Crane Pool and Schmidt and strut my stuff with some kick-ass cleavage spark'n thru a tight fitting suit with some major HOT Manolo Blahnik's click'n some steps off........WHOOO! I'm make'n myself hot just think'n about it........RIDE SALLY RIDE!!!!!!!!!
