PELOSI'S SPEECH BIASED??? OR COP OUT????

O.K......you're tell'n me that the Repub's didn't vote for the bill because of the "partisan" Pelosi's speech? GIVE ME A FREAK'N BREAK!!!!! Here I am, sitt'n on the back porch sign'n cards for some 'man' that needs a woman's voice to say "HEY...VOTE FOR ME CUZ THE WOMAN IS BEHIND ME!" and in the mean time, I'm listening to the world news piped out on my back porch and I can vaguely see the 52" screen from the bench I'm sitt'n on.....and then I hear it....those astounding words.....reported that THEY WERE GONNA VOTE UNTIL THEY HEARD HER SPEECH! I don't buy into that. Let's get real....whether she's made of plastic, dolled up in whatever extravagant avangard she may be wearing today, that doesn't give them the right to say "hey, the bitch pissed me off; so I'm not gonna save the economy!" What in the hell do we have up there??? A bunch of nutless, guys; or was this just a freak'n scare me tactic by the administration to scare everyone, including the Repub's and Dem's to vote for this??? I'm beginning to wonder....this shake down has been in the works all week and the people have been scared to death ALL week and Bush has been saying this is the 'fix all of it all!' ---The administration has been delivering fright speeches on how 'if it's not passed' and 'this will save the economy if passed', blah, blah, blah all week; no wonder the DOW WENT TO POT TODAY!!!!!!!!.......but I DON'T WANT TO HEAR, "BLAME IT ON THE WOMAN'S SPEECH!" What if, what if, what if......Pelosi was a guy......you know, like her cousin that was on Saturday Night Live.....what if he were to have delivered that speech???? Would it have been received the same way????

I know.......ya'll have missed my beautiful and intellectual prose for almost a week and I apologize! But you know, I'm just down right sick of it all; ECONOMY, ELECTION, DEBATE, SHUCK AND JIVE, THIS ONE/THAT ONE BEING THE IDIOT! Not to mention, I have a life myself! Things have been hectic in ol' Cougarville and quite frankly, I'm drained! Too many men and not enough to hate in my life.....don't get me wrong, I love them when I need them; however, they can be such a burden at times when the female persuasion is trying to deal with life as their "rock" and they are........well, let's just say, FREAK'N HELPLESS, SAPLESS, CHILDREN that don't have a clue at times how dumb they are! I would do anything in the world for a man in my surroundings and do it to my utmost potential; however, don't dare judge me or make me feel that I'm beneath thinking as an individual on YOUR LEVEL!!! I've been around the block a time or two in my life and will NOT BACK DOWN, as Tom Petty would say (or screech!) and I don't need a male making me feel like a dumb ass in the thick of things........So there......The Cougar has growled and let her ROAR! And with that, I will post a picture of the Sarah Pawn Palin in retrospect of probably all of the bullshit as a woman in politics that she has had to put up with all of her political career. I do feel empathy for her in that sentiment and that is why I will be posting this today and only today.......who knows, I may even vote for her if these guys keep piss'n me off! It seems that Katie Couric will be spending some time with "Updooed" Sarah Palin while on the Republican campaign trail. Couric has been "awarded" (snicker) the honor (snicker, again) of getting to ride with McCain and Palin a couple of days and then will air the crap, I mean coverage, on September 29th and 30th on the "CBS Evening News" and if you are a morning person and can stomach the gruesomeness, you can also see it on the "Early Show" on CBS. The only reason they gave the story to Couric is evidently because the McCain/Palin camp is a little out of sorts with "MSNBC" and the man-crush that Keith Olberman has on Obama. So with that, they went and grabbed Couric (Pawn#2) for the Pawn Palin#1 interview and knocked NBC's Brian Williams way out of the saddle!!! Boy that'll teach'em..........won't it!!!! LOLOLOL!!!!

As usual, over the java and the smoke filled room, I had enjoyable morning watching FACE THE NATION yesterday morn. It was quite entertaining watching the Ol'Bob Schieffer take on the LADIES this a.m. It was hilarious!!! LUV IT, LUV IT! But I especially loved one of the ladies on there: Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Dem).....actually, this was the first I have heard of her probably in a long time and frankly, I LIKE HER ATTACK!!!!! She knew her stuff and she pulled NO PUNCHES!!! When I first heard her speak, I kind of got a little scared cuz she actually has a low, wispy voice! (I think she must have java and smokes every morning too before she takes out in her mini-van to drop kids off!!!) However, I agree with what she said as far as the media asking the questions of MS. PALIN....sorry, she's gonna have to answer some questions about her history and foreign policy, whether she likes it or not; that would be for any candidate whether man or woman. (and I take offense to Palin that she's feeling a little "DIS-RESPECTED" by these or ANY questions.....she said yes to the task-if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen! Oh dear, did I just dis-respect someone??? Come on!!!) You know what; we're women, and as Hillary did and Palin is SUPPOSE to be doing; are setting the bar for women in the big tickets this year. Hillary had to go all through this mud sling'n and scrutiny, blue dress mess, cigar toke'n slander and SHE stayed the course. What's wrong Palin??? My goodness; you've got to at least think and KNOW, as a woman, you're gonna be treated differently....you're blaze'n a trail! Get over it; unless you're hiding from the issues! And if that's the case, then HANG YOUR APRON UP AND GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN......

Disturbing Trend?

Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democratic Party... as they have apparently learned to simply sit and wait for the government to provide for their care and sustenance. Little Rock, Arkansas: Seth Russell, 15, of Crossett, was hit by a flying Asian Silver Carp in the face and knocked unconscious, while inner tubing behind a boat on Lake Chicot this weekend!!! First of all, who hasn't tubed behind a boat???? That's what kids do in Arkansas! Second,; how in the heck would it feel to have one of these MONSTERS flop you in the face and break your jaw??? One second he was tubing, having a blast and the next thing he knew, he was waking up in the hospital with his jaw wired shut! What a weekend!

The next time you're cruising the waters of Arkansas, beware....you never know what might smack you in the face and get fish guts all over ya!

Palin Pawn or Haber...Haber......Haberdasher?

As Rose and I were discussing the outlandish, hypocriphy of the electorial news this a.m. over our usual (yeah, I know, the usual java and the swishers........don't hate us cuz we're beautiful AND trendy....we can't help it!); ANYWAY, as we were TRYING to make since of all the hooplah last night on the airwaves, Rose, of course, made a very observant and logical statement that the "Palin is the Pawn".........I could not agree more; while her presence on the stage was electrifying......my goddette, anything's better than Biden.......and of course, she IS A WOMAN; you can't go wrong with a woman in politics because she usually multitasks and does all the grunt work while the MEN at the seat sit around and try to get all the "Flim Flam" for the work that's done behind the scenes by the......WOMAN. But as we talked, Rose and I both agreed, she's the PAWN........she sat there and read a prepared speech that, frankly made my stomach turn! (probably written by a man.....) John McCain could be the greatest thing since sliced bread.....but NO WOMAN, and I mean NO WOMAN, should have to sit up there before the American People and have to read what she read last night to pump McCain up like HE was "SENT FROM GOD.......!" I was just waiting for her to say that off the cuff because from what I can tell about her, she really is in tune with HIM (God). But then she pushed me over my chair.....literally......When she mentioned the "haberdasher", which referenced to the almighty Harry Truman from Missouri.......well, that girl needs a lesson cuz she can't get away with call'n H.T. a dealer in men's clothing and accessories. Sounds like she's call'n him a PIMP!.............So is she comparing H.T. to Obama???? Haberdasher..........hummmmm! What A SLAM!!!!!!! Don't be pimp'n out Harry........that might come out to bite!!!!!

THE OBAMA BOUNCY, BOUNCE......MCCAIN/PALIN SHUCK AND JIVE......

Well, the news reports are reporting that the History Maker, Barack OBama has peaked??? PEAKED???? I was reading an article this a.m. over my 100th cup of coffee, and it was mighty fine coffee, if I say so myself, and this article was going on about how after the DNC (Dem. Nat'l Conv.), that Mr. Obama had did a little bounce; that is, he had bounced about 4% up in the polls over McCain; however, not knowing whats going to happen with the Republican National Convention, reports are showing that he may have PEAKED!!! That's it.....He beat Kerry in his bounce after the Dem Conv; but for the record, trails behind Clinton and even DOLE after they hit the DNC!!!!!! DOLE?????!!! Hummmm.........makes you wonder what the woman strategy McCain has pulled over Obama may have done......surely to goodness this Palin woman, who has said to have been treated "with kid gloves by the Alaskan press" and it's reported by the Alaskan press that she is reluctant and is known for avoiding meetings that involve deep discussion of policy and issues. Hummmmm.....again! Sounds like a female McCain when ask about Viagra!!!!!
